Indevolt Solar Scan privacy policy

What this policy covers

Indevolt Solar Scan helps you explore an indicative balcony panel fit, generation and direct-use savings. This page reflects the app's current in-app privacy disclosure and production configuration. Estimates are illustrative and do not approve an installation, electrical connection or purchase.

What stays on your phone

Live camera frames, recorded scan video, depth data and your full postcode stay on your phone. They are not sent to the Indevolt service as part of the scan described here.

What the service may receive

To work out an indicative result, the service may receive derived dimensions, your postcode area rather than the full postcode, a rounded position, and answers about your household. The rounded position identifies roughly a street rather than a home. The service may receive an email address if you request a report.

Reports and marketing choices

Requesting a report does not sign you up for marketing. Marketing email requires a separate optional choice, which you can withdraw. Production report delivery currently remains disabled pending an approved retention period and deletion process; a report request may therefore be unavailable.

Deletion and questions

Deletion controls are not yet available within the app. For a question about information held by the service, or to ask about access, correction or deletion, email appsolutelyfabulous26@gmail.com and name Indevolt Solar Scan. Do not send full scan video or sensitive household details unless they are needed to explain your request.

No approved fixed retention period for future report data is claimed here. We will update this policy if report delivery and its retention and deletion process are enabled.
